A native of Chicago, Nachee Miller began his military service in 1978 and served more than 30 years with time in both the Army and the Illinois Army National Guard. He retired from the Army in 2009.
Miller has a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from the University of Illinois Chicago, a Master of Science in human resources from Central Michigan University and a Master of Divinity from Howard University.
He is an active member of the Northeastern Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C., serving as an elder and president of the trustee board. He has completed several church mission trips to Kenya, assisting in building churches and school classrooms there. He is currently the president and CEO of Ida Staffing and Miller Living Environments.
Miller joined DAV in 2007 and has held several leadership positions in the organization. He is currently the commander of the DAV Department of District of Columbia; commander of Chapter 3 in Washington, D.C.; and alternate member for the 6th District of the National Executive Committee. He previously served as the secretary for the NEC 6th District. Miller resides in Washington, D.C.
