There are two entrances for this event:

  • Corner of 2nd Street and the 3rd Street Tunnel
  • Corner of Washington Ave SW and the 3rd Street Tunnel

NOTE: Parking is limited! We encourage guests to rideshare or use other public transportation

Directions to the Memorial:

The American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial is on a 2.4 acre triangular site bounded on the west by 2nd street, on the east by Washington Avenue, and on the south by opposing entrance ramps to Interstate 395.

The Memorial is adjacent to Bartholdi Park with a clear view of the Capitol Building.

Public Transportation:

The easiest way to reach us by Metrorail is by taking either the Orange or Blue line to the Federal Center SW station.

Metrobuses numbers 32, 34 and 36 stop behind the U.S. Botanical Garden Conservatory at Independence Avenue and First Street SW.
