Downey McGrath Group, Inc. is a bipartisan government affairs consulting firm that provides strategic advice and expertise to business, labor, non-profits and other organizations on matters of public policy. Founded by Thomas Downey in January, 1993, the firm is dedicated to helping clients devise strategies to navigate and change policies in the Executive Branch and Congress.

Since 2007, the company has provided pro bono strategic advice to the Disabled Veterans’ Life Memorial Foundation, Inc., working with members of the House, Senate and the administration to champion the project.

Chairman Tom Downey served as a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1975-1993, including 14 years on the House Ways and Means

Committee. President Ray McGrath served as a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1981-1993, including eight years on the Ways and Means Committee.
